"HEAVY LIES THE CROWN" is the fourth film by Florian Herzog and a dark reinterpretation of Goethe's classic "Faust: The Tragedy - Part I", set in the modern age. The film follows Flynn and Grace, two people from different backgrounds but with similar problems. Flynn tries everything to help his terminally ill mother and, due to a lack of prospects, takes the illegal route. His unscrupulous nature quickly attracts the attention of a mysterious man who can give him everything but demands even more in return. Desperate, Flynn enters into a pact from which there is no return. More and more Flynn sees himself lost on a dark path that pulls him into even deeper abysses.
